You can add a calendar to the Front Page of your LMS that shows all the upcoming events and meetings, so long as you have enabled Link to Calendar Event in the meeting set-up page (see below).
Go to the Administration block on the Front Page then go to Front Page settings>>> Edit settings and set Course Calendar to display when the user is logged in:

The users can select their preferred events directly from the calendar. When the user clicks on an event in the calendar, the meeting summary will appear with the option to register:
